Follow the aftercare instructions provided by your technician to ensure a smooth recovery.

Are there any pre-treatment instructions I should follow?

Yes! You will receive an email upon booking your laser hair removal service which will include the following pre-care instructions:

Avoid direct sun exposure for at least 2 weeks before treatment and use broad-spectrum SPF 30+ if exposed.
Do NOT wax, tweeze, thread or epilate the treatment area for 3-4 weeks prior; shaving is allowed.
Shave the treatment area 24 hours before your scheduled appointment time (unless otherwise instructed).
Avoid topical retinoids/Retin-A for at least 3 days before treatment.
Notify Heavenly Reflection technician if you are pregnant, nursing or on photosensitizing medication, or if you have an active tan/sunburn.
Arrive with clean skin (no makeup, lotions, other than self-tanner on the treatment area.

Are there any post-treatment instructions I should follow after I receive my laser hair removal service?

Yes! You will receive an email upon booking your laser hair removal service which will include the following post-care instructions:

Avoid direct sun exposure and tanning for at least 2 weeks after treatment; apply SPF 30+ when outdoors.
Avoid hot baths, saunas, intense exercise, or hot tubs for 24-48 hours after.
You may experience temporary redness, swelling, or mild blistering; apply cool compresses if needed.
Avoid exfoliating products and procedures on the treated area for 7 days (unless advised otherwise).
Avoid topical irritants (benzoyl peroxide, glycolic acids, etc) for 3-7 days post treatment.
Contact the clinic if you experience severe pain, blistering or signs of infection.
